Ask Ansh

How do I find the aha moment for my product?

There's a data-driven approach that works better than guessing. Start by creating hypotheses about which user actions signal true value-make sure each hypothesis has a specific time window, like "completing action X within Y days of signup."

Next, split your users into two cohorts: those who stayed and those who churned. Compare their behavior against each hypothesis. If 70% of retained users performed action X within three days but only 20% of churned users did, that's a signal.

Test all your hypotheses-the AHA moment might be a combination of actions rather than a single one. Then validate by talking to users directly: ask retained users how they felt performing the action, and ask churned users why they left. Confirm whether simplifying the action would make the value clearer.
